Board of Directors Meeting

August 8, 2013

Board Members Present:  John Cotter, Dave Casper, Mike Jacobi, Ron Sabel, Walt Brudnowski, and Al Rosenthal

Also Present:  Pat Kilbey , Chris Hamerla and Tom Onofrey

Ron Sabel called the meeting to order at 1:38 p.m.

Minutes of the June 12, 2013 were approved on a motion by Mike Jacobi and seconded by John Cotter

The treasurer’s report was presented by Ron Sabel.  It showed a balance of $1753.13 as of August 5, 2013.  The membership report showed 21 lake districts paid dues in 2013.

Motion made by John Cotter and a second by Dave Casper to approve the treasurer’s report.

Approved

No reports were given on the Golden Sands RC & D Council or the Central Sands Water Action Coalition.

Pat gave a report on the stream flow project.  John, Doug, Walt and Mike were trained on testing stream flow.  They have done some testing of Lawrence Creek.

Chris gave a brief report on the lakes in Marquette County that they have surveyed.  He will report on results at the MCLA Annual meeting September.  The AIS group had a booth at the Marquette
County and Green Lake County fairs.

Tom Onofrey reported on Act 170 Lakeshore Zoning Ordinance changes.  He also reported on changes that have already been made to the Marquette County zoning ordinance.  We appreciate Tom keeping us up to date.  Tom answered a number of questions.

September 12^th Annual Meeting  6:30 p.m.

Program  Chris Hamerla and Pat Kilbey and a round table discussion of area lake needs,etc.

Meeting adjourned on a motion by Mike Jacobi and seconded by John Cotter at 2:51 p.m.
