MARQUETTE COUNTY LAKES ASSOCIATION
SPRING MEETING
May 14, 2015
President Ron Sabel called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m.
Introductions were made after the Pledge of Allegiance

Board Members Present:  Dave Casper, Al Rosenthal, Mike Jacobi, Ron Sabel, John Cotter and Doug Griesbach.

Also Present:  Chris Hamerla, Tom Onofrey, Krista Kamke, Ben Nadolski and Lynn Markam.  26 in attendance.

Minutes of the September 11, 2014 minutes were presented.  Motion by Dave Casper and seconded by John Cotter to approve the minutes.   Approved

Treasurer’s  Report-Lee Vaughan was not present.  Al Rosenthal reported that we have 20 lakes as members and as of April our treasury has $2220.16, and in May we wrote a check for $1000.00 to Golden Sands RC&D for the Marquette County AIS program.

Lynn Markham from UW Extension gave a presentation on Shoreland Zoning.  Very informative and created a good discussion. 

Tom Onofrey, Marquette County Zoning, added to Lynn’s presentation by updating what was happening in Marquette   County.

Ben Nadolski was introduced as the new Game Warden for Marquette County.
Chris Hamerla introduced the new AIS Coordinator for Marquette County and Green Lake County, Krista Kamke.  She is a recent graduate of UW-Steven Point.  Two interns will be employed for the summer to help on Green Lake and Puckaway.  Krista will continue the work started by Chris and will honor his appointments to be present at Lake meetings.  She will start June 1st.

Next Joint meeting will be the Annual meeting to be held on September 10, 2015 at 6:30 p.m.

 Meeting adjouned at 8: 20 p.m. on a motion by Dave Casper and a second by Doug Griesbach.  Approved
