Water Elevations
Oral reports were given by Mike, Ron and Dave on their lakes and what has happen to the lake levels with the dry summer we have been having.  Kilbey Lake is without a gauge.  Pat said he would set some time aside and let us know when we can finish the water elevation gauges.  We also need 8 pad locks all keyed the same. Lee said he would look into what he might have available, and Al said he would check with his son about padlocks and being keyed the same.

Boat Safety Class
Al reported that we had 15 at our first boat safety class.  Mark Judas was the lead instructor with help from Anthony Rosenthal, Lori Killian and Al.  It was held on four nights, with each night being 2.5 hours long.  Marquette County Lakes Association sponsored the class, and would have bought a life jacket for anyone who had a 100% on the test.  Johnson Boat & Motors would provide the life jackets at a cost of about $50.00 per jacket.  Other costs of the class were rent for $30.00 for the Westfield Library, $47.00 for refreshments for the students, and $100.00 for mileage for the lead instructor.
